Wake Media Appoints New Head of Digital and Media to Expand Client Services
Wake Media, the specialist marketing and communications agency for the maritime industry, announces the appointment of Dan Chapman as Head of Digital and Media Services.
A new role in the agency team, the appointment is part of Wake Media’s continuing evolution to advance digital and media production services and support the increasingly data-driven marketing strategies of clients. As Head of Digital and Media Services, Dan Chapman will lead video, webinar and podcast production and develop Wake Media’s digital marketing services, including PPC, SEO and programmatic advertising.
Dan Chapman joins Wake Media following a successful tenure at Informa Markets, where he led content and digital marketing development for Seatrade Maritime, including the launch of the publication’s podcast, TV and marketing solution platforms. His marketing and media experience spans 12 years, most of which has been in the maritime sector, specialising in data and pioneering new technology.
Wake Media has recently celebrated a decade in maritime marketing, during which time the agency has garnered a strong reputation for elevating clients’ exposure and delivering high impact campaigns.
Andy Ford, Managing Director of Wake Media, said, “We have a clear strategy for growth that’s built on a deep understanding of the maritime world and effectively harnessing the latest marketing technologies to support marine and energy brands. I am excited to welcome Dan to the Wake Media team and I know he will play an integral part in shaping an enhanced digital and media offering for our clients.”
“There is enormous potential to grow Wake Media’s digital marketing and media production services and I am excited to be part of the next phase of the agency’s journey,” said Dan Chapman. “It’s a time of great change in the maritime industry, driven by digitalisation and the road to net zero and I’m looking forward to working with the Wake Media team and clients to realise their digital and media strategies.”
