Seabot Maritime is the leading agency for next generation learning products and services.  With a particular focus on the shift to automation, the company partners with a wide variety of market segments implementing autonomy into their workforces, including shipping, renewables, offshore oil and gas, and aviation. 

The company ensures that the skills and competencies seafarers need to operate uncrewed vessels are developed in tandem with the technology, so that the machine works for the human, and not the other way around.

Seabot Maritime’s end-to-end approach to learning is being incorporated into companies across maritime and aviation to align their businesses to digital operations. Through state-of-the-art tools such as gamified learning, blended learning delivery using extended reality, and a pan industry competency management and assessment platform, Seabot Maritime manages individuals’ learning journeys. 

The company was founded in 2018 by CEO Gordon Meadow. Gordon’s maritime experience combines with chief operating officer Ifor Bielecki’s aerospace background to create cutting edge services that draw best practice from both industries. Seabot Maritime has access to a wide pool of specialist consultants from which it draws relevant expertise, depending on the client and project.

Seabot Maritime is driving the skills and competencies agenda at various industry forums. It is an active member of the Marine Engineering Science and Technology (IMarEST) and Gordon is chair of the Institute of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships Special Interest Group (MASS SIG).

Seabot Maritime is a founder member of MASSPeople, the Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) International Training Standards Working Group, and also participants in the Maritime Autonomous Systems Regulatory Working Group (MASRWG).
