ICE, Europe’s largest independent, privately owned ship design group with a 50-year track record, provides naval architecture and marine engineering services to clients world-wide in the commercial marine, defence and offshore energy industries.
ICE delivers first-of-class multi-discipline design services ranging from conceptual studies and Class drawings to detail design (including 3-D modelling) and production information. ICE also offers procurement assistance, retrofit design of BWT and scrubbers, build strategy development and related consulting services, as well as plan approval services and shipyard supervision on behalf of Owners.
ICE covers a full range of naval architecture and marine engineering disciplines such as hydrodynamics, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, outfit and HVAC. Our experience includes gas carriers, passenger vessels, navy and coast guard ships, chemical tankers, drill ships, FSO/FPSOs and a range of other vessels. We also have available proprietary designs that can be adapted to clients’ requirements.

Software Systems:
ICE is one of Europe’s largest independent users of the AVEVA 3-D modeling software, with about 250 licenses. ICE is a leading user of AVEVA Global, a communication software that enables simultaneous design in multiple locations accessing the same database, resulting in shorter design times, less travel costs and overall cost savings.
