Company Information
Summary:
Eminox has marinised automotive exhaust after treatment systems to provide flexible, scalable systems suitable for a range of marine applications, including those with challenging space envelopes.
Eminox is dedicated to making a difference. Together with becoming part of a more environmentally focused manufacturing industry, we strive to improve air quality around the world.
Our in-house team design and manufacture specialist exhaust aftertreatment systems (EATS) for applications powered by diesel and alternative fuels. We offer a flexible approach to deliver standard and bespoke emissions components, as well as complete system solutions, for a range of EATS applications.
Our products are used as original equipment in vehicles and equipment around the world and we also provide fully integrated upgrade solutions for on- and off-highway customers. The Eminox range of diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), diesel particulate filter (DPF), selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and three-way catalyst (TWC) products are proven in diesel, CNG (compressed natural gas) and LNG (liquid natural gas) applications.
We have developed our Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system which reduces Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) by up to 95% from heavy-duty diesel engine exhausts.
Our Continuously Regenerating Trap (CRT®) is the world’s leading retrofit DPF. It reduces particulate matter (PM) by more than 90%, to meet Euro VI emissions levels for PM, and virtually eliminates hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) and is nitrogen oxide (NOx) neutral.
Eminox SCRT® technology is a combination of the CRT® and SCR it can reduce PM, NOx, NO2, CO and hydrocarbons by up to 99%, even at low operating temperatures. SCRT® technology is proven in real world environments.
The Eminox new product introduction (NPI) process includes complete engineering and design services from concept, full in-house evaluation and modelling, prototyping, verification and homologation services.
We have the knowledge and expertise to support customers with our in-house research and development facility. We conduct extensive testing of products before final production, to save time and money in the development process, and work in conjunction with your engineers during on-site testing.
As keen problem solvers with over 40 years’ experience in the automotive industry, we continue to support a wide variety of applications including power generation, on-road, non-road mobile machinery and rail.
Our engineers have been working with OEM’s in the marine industry for more than 5-years and are supporting the growing needs of the sector to deliver solutions that will achieve global emissions legislative standards, including IMO III and China II emissions standards. We are also aware of the potential impact of inland emissions regulations for the marine sector, and the importance of achieving expanding emissions standards.
All Eminox products are designed in the UK and manufactured in our state-of-the-art facilities in the UK and China.
