90POE Enhances OpenOcean STUDIO with Groundbreaking Commercial Voyage Management Integration
90POE, the leading provider of digital maritime technology, today announced a significant update to its next generation platform, OpenOcean STUDIO. This groundbreaking release, announced during Posidonia 2024, introduces comprehensive commercial voyage management capabilities, seamlessly integrated with existing operational and performance management features.
The latest release of 90POE’s OpenOcean STUDIO broadens the platform’s unique capabilities and empowers customers with a single, unified view for managing the entire commercial voyage management workflow ‘charter to cash’.
With this end-to-end capability, OpenOcean STUDIO, seamlessly integrates commercial decision-making with operational voyage execution, eliminating the need for separate systems, and providing a comprehensive, singular commercial and operational view for users.
Customers are utilising the full pre-fixture, post-fixture, and post-voyage solution to unlock increasingly competitive, compliant, and sustainable voyages. The system works by leveraging real-time data and dynamic vessel profiles to deliver highly accurate voyage estimates through its digital twin technology, virtualVESSEL. This allows for continuous adjustments and optimised commercial outcomes.
The platform then effortlessly converts estimates into voyage plans with automatic population of details such as itinerary, costs, and revenue items. This minimises leakage and establishes a baseline profit and loss (P&L) for ongoing optimisation.
In addition, every operational change is reflected in a live P&L statement, empowering both operational and commercial teams to make real-time decisions ensuring voyage profitability and efficiency.
Richard Buckley, Founder & CEO of 90POE, commented:
‘At 90POE, we are passionate about helping customers focus on the percentages that matter.
Throughout our development journey, we have prioritised building a next-generation maritime platform that empowers post-fixture voyage execution and overall operational efficiency.
I am thrilled to announce the completion of our commercial voyage management integration within OpenOcean STUDIO. This groundbreaking addition goes beyond standard features, offering customers the unprecedented benefit of real-time operational insights feeding directly into commercial voyage management and chartering processes.
OpenOcean STUDIO delivers a level of dynamic visibility unmatched in the market.
Core modules and information seamlessly flow through the platform, ensuring crucial elements like vessel performance and consumption data are readily available. This allows for real-time TCE (Time Charter Equivalent) capture and tracking throughout the voyage, providing a unique window into profitability and performance optimisation.
We believe that by unifying this information, OpenOcean STUDIO empowers data-driven decision-making leading to improved commercial success.’
The full OpenOcean STUDIO platform is available today.
